Curiosity is a great thing! from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

Thanks everyone for your comments! I must go back and digest them! There's a lot to be said about traveling light, but if you have or want a decluttered environment at home, it's a lot easier to "declutter" what you take on vacation. BUT --- and the airlines tell you this repeatedly -- DO NOT check your medications, important papers, laptops --- basically anything that cannot be easily replaced --- do NOT check it. Clothes? You can buy clothes anywhere, but you can't easily renew a prescription.

And not having checked luggage gives you 100% flexibility to change flights (if yours ...

The long way home from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

I'm home, but it might have been faster to walk! OK -- I'm kidding, but there were a few hiccups along the way.

As I lay in bed the night before, I contemplated the issue with my mom. Do I leave it and deal with it next time? What's a little fog? from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

Well, the blog is really late today! Yesterday was a whirlwind day filled with MANY Plan Bs, and I just went with it. The LONG way home!!! from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

I don't need reading glasses this morning to write the blog. I'm on my big computer with a big screen! I love my mini portable office, even though it's super small. It does the job and frankly, without me documenting the trip, I'd remember nothing, or at least not in the order things happened.

I blogged from the Air Canada Maple Leaf Lounge in Frankfurt yesterday. Today I'm home!

The Air Canada Lounge in Frankfurt

It was very foggy and rainy when we landed in Frankfurt. So much so that you could barely see anything ...

How does that work? from Crazy Quilter on a Bike!

What a wild couple of days! I'm back home—the plane landed very late, and here I am—already up as I have a presentation to do this morning—the final show-and-tell for a class.

Thankfully, it's just show and tell, and the class is small, so the presentation was easy to put together!

Well, Dad and I were back at it. This time, we wanted to see what the inside of his printer looked like and how easy it would be to clean the printer heads!

Working on the printer

We took it apart to see how ...
